Dear Alison Lynch was laid to rest on 28th May 2026 at Strowan Woodland Cemetery in Crieff.
The sun poured down on no fewer than 50 of her family members & friends, surrounded by breathtaking Perthshire countryside and beautiful rolling hills. Alison’s husband gave the most profound Eulogy, painting a beautiful and clear picture of Alison’s life - a life of true Faith, in deeds not words. He described how her Faith was not loud but expressed in all the countless moments of care, devotion and compassion she showed to one and all. He drew on the writings of Baha’u’llah to speak of the journey of the soul after death and the purpose of this life. Although Alison left this world so early, she had achieved this purpose.
Alison’s dear mum also shared wonderful childhood memories of Alison, as a peaceful child with a strong & resilient core, founded on spirituality, that guided her through life, especially as a devoted and caring mother. The only way to describe the whole service was that it was a spiritual pilgrimage for all who were there.
The afternoon continued with a coming together of family & friends at Comrie Croft, with meaningful conversations between the friends of all backgrounds gathered there, exactly what Alison would have wanted, enabling so many to hear about Baha’u’llah for the first time.
May her precious soul receive abundant blessings and may she spur us on to victories in our work, won in her honour.
